HISTORY & MISSION STATEMENT

Sal’s Auto Body & Paint  was opened as S&D Body Shop  by Salvador Arroyo, Sr. and a partner
in 1978. Sal left the shop's management to his partner while working a day job as a truck driver.
After his partner was unsuccessful running the shop, he abandoned the business in 1981. Left
with a bad reputation, large debt, and no knowledge of body repair,  Salvador changed the name
to Sal's Body & Paint Shop and continued on his own and brought a different type of customer
service to his shop.

The principles and guidelines he began with have never changed and helped the shop grow into
what it is today. Some of these principles that have made Sal’s a favorite amongst customers in
our city and surrounding areas are:

We believe that by following and implementing these guidelines in each and every job we do, no
matter how big or small, customers will always come back. This belief has held true for 28 years.
